Job cuts at Birkenhead shipbuilder Cammell Laird.
A Merseyside shipyard relaunched last year has signalled job losses because of a gap in orders.
Cammell Laird, which employs around 500 workers, said the decision was not related to the recession, but followed the completion of military and commercial contracts.
