Seardel to close Frame Textiles with 1400 possible job losses.
South Africa’s largest clothing and textile manufacturer, Seardel, announced the closure of Frame Textiles, which would affect about 1400 workers. Its demise would also hit workers and companies operating in related industries. The job losses would take place in spinning, weaving, finishing and denim divisions.
Total losses = +- 1400
